How big house do you need? Do you need 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms or smaller house would be more appropriate. How many cars does your household have? Do you need to be able to drive through your garage to your backyard or you need extra space for your boat.
Maybe villa, apartment or duplex would be better option.

And then land size! Larger land does mean that you will be spending some of your weekend time in your garden. If you are busy professional, working long hours, can you see your self spending weekends in the garden?!?

And then there is your budget to consider. If you are on the limited budget you need to decide would you rather live in the smaller villa or duplex in the preferred area close to the beach or caffe strip or bit further down the road in the bigger property. Hard decisions ahead, yes indeed.

Start with a list. We will call our lists:
- Must have list and
- Wish list.

Write down all your ‘must haves’. Prioritize by most important to be on top of the list followed by lower priority items.
‘Must haves’ needs to include things that are essential and crucial when choosing which houses get picked to be visited on home open times?
This list may include things like size and number of bedrooms and bathrooms, separate games area for little ones, bath, swimming pool, kitchen size etc.
